ABOUT
JOCERT established in 2017 as a part of National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) , JOCERT is charged with responding to cyber security incidents, building and developing an effective system for cyber operations.
The Mission
To protect the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s public networks, data centres and critical infrastructure from Cyber attacks and unauthorised activities; co-ordinate National Incident Response and maintain international relationships with partner CERTs in order to preserve Jordanian security and economic wellbeing.
The Goals
- Minimize the impact of the Cyber threat.
- Minimize the information lost through attacks.
- Minimize the operational and economic disruption that attacks can cause.
- Minimize the risk of reputational damage that an attack might cause.
- Coordinate National response to Cybersecurity incidents against critical infrastructure.
